4 DAYS and over 300 MILES to go...

My name is Georgia Stanway and this year on 24th July I will be biking to Paris to raise awareness and funds for Katharine House Hospice Stafford. 

Katharine House Hospice provides end of life care offering holistic support for people with advanced life-limiting conditions living in mid-Staffordshire. It’s a charity incredibly close to my heart and to so many others. By choosing this challenge, I hope to not only raise awareness for such a worthy cause, but to raise funds and give back to the incredible work, care and continuous support that Katherine House Hospice provides to our community.

THE JOURNEY TO PARIS:                    

My 4 day journey begins in Crystal Palace London where I will head South to Dover before catching the ferry to Calais and cycling through Abbeville, Beauvais and finally arriving in the beautiful “City of Love” Paris - only hours before the Tour de France Finale!

This trip will be my toughest challenge yet, pushing me completely out of my comfort zone, switching my running shoes for cycling ones! With an estimated 90 miles of cycling each day and over 300 miles in total, it’s going to be incredibly tough (and at times even painful). With training in full swing, sponsored so generously by the fantastic staff at iMotion Gym Stafford, there’s no stopping me now! The countdown is on!
