The Joe Ellis Trust helps Isle of Wight children who have cancer and their families in their time of need. The Trust was set up in loving memory of Joe Ellis, who died 30/6/14, at the tender age of just 13 years, after being diagnosed with Primary Mediastinum large B cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Story

Somehow I agreed to cycle to Paris along with 3 other crazy pals, Lorraine, AJ and Carolyn. I'm fairly certain me saying yes was likely after a glass of wine or two.....but here I am two weeks away from our start date........eeeek!

For someone like me who hated cycling and literally had none of the gear and zero idea this is probably the most ridiculous thing I've said yes too! This trip has been fully funded by myself and while I've been enduring the time in the saddle I wanted my pain to create good somewhere......

So after a lot of consideration i've decided to raise money for the Joe Ellis Trust. Having seen Simon's strength in such devastating times, and how admirable it was to see how the whole Ellis family pulled together to keep their Son's legacy thriving in the face of their own devastation after loosing their son Joe to his own battle to cancer in 2014.

The Joe Ellis trust to date have helped 75 families on the Island "Making a Difference" helping children living on the Island who have cancer and their families.

Any donation will make a difference......even if all my facebook friends gave a £1 hundreds of ££ would be put to this amazing cause.

xx
