The Wellspring supports the people of Stockport that are homeless or at risk of losing their home. Making a real difference to people’s lives means understanding what they are going through. Hope Helps Change Works

Story

The WellSpring -  £400 a day is needed to run this organisation. Every single penny that the charity receives is spent on running the Project and providing services to those individuals who find themselves homeless and in need of some support. They receive no council funding, or government cash, nor are they a beneficiary of any large National Lottery grants, so every pound donated makes a massive difference.

There are over 4,700 rough sleepers in and around Manchester on any given night and the numbers are rising!

The Wellspring runs an open door policy, anyone can access.  They provide assistance for rough sleepers, including rucksacks, sleeping bags, food and drinks and hot showers when needed.  They want to offer advice and support to get rough sleepers into housing accommodation long term and off the streets.

If you would like to donate and make a difference please do so.
