We conduct world class medical research projects. We diagnose and treat thousands of people with epilepsy every year. We do this and much more. We are the UK’s national medical epilepsy charity. With Epilepsy Society, you don’t have to deal with epilepsy alone.

Story

I don't usually talk about this and some of you may be only just finding out, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was eleven. It's taken me a long time to get seizure free , many visits to A&E, Neorology tests and epileptic drugs, a mixed life as a teenager and later as an adult. I owe a lot to my parents, sisters, my wife, two boys, many family and friends who have helped and supported me over the last 30 years. I've been clear since 2012, I've been lucky to complete my FA Football Level 1 and coach kids and I've learnt to drive - something I thought I'd never do! Societies like Epilepsy Society are fantastic, offering lots of information and support for those diagnosed and their friends and families so I am taking on this huge (and slightly terrifying challenge) to raise money that will help such a vital charity!
