On Oct 24th 2012 I will be participating in a cycling challenge . Along with 34 others, I will be cycling for 350 km over the course of 3 days across Turkey starting from Bandirma and ending in Istanbul!!

We will be raising funds to support three crucial healthcare projects focused on providing care to victims of physical trauma and ensuring safe childbirth among mothers in Gaza (http://cycling4gaza.com/thecause/2012-projects/) , and supporting maternal and neonatal healthcare in the Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon (http://cycling4gaza.com/thecause/projects-2012-lebanon/ ).

 Cycling4Gaza is an initiative founded by a group of concerned young people in the wake of the 2009 war on Gaza. The mission is to raise awareness about the ongoing blockade on the Gaza Strip and to raise funds for carefully selected non-profit organizations that provide critical educational and health support to vulnerable Palestinian communities. Volunteers from all over the world come together in a yearly cycling challenge in a collective effort to raise awareness and funds. This year’s 350 km ride will be held in Turkey from October 24 to 27.
