Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2017 · 30 July 2017 ·

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity supports families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support.

Story

On Sunday 30th July 2017, I will be taking on a cycling challenge through London and Surrey on a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Races.

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 will start in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then travel through the capital and onto Surrey's stunning country roads and through the Surrey Hills before a spectacular finish on The Mall in central London.

I'm riding on behalf of the Rainbow Trust, they are a charity which supports families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Their Family Support Workers provide a life line to the families of these children; they support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents. They bring support and help to families who so desperately need it at home, in hospital and in the community.
