I am raising money for the Alzheimers Society.

Why Alzheimers Society? well... my father was diagnosed with it some years ago. It is difficult to explain in a few paragraphs what this disease means and/or how it affects people around ... Many people thinks is just about forgetting things like your keys! But it isnt, It is much more than that, its forgetting everything. Your own memories,  your beloved ones, peoples faces, words, how to write, how to eat, your physical abilities etc...

I cant even put into context how hard it must be wanting to say something and not being able to because the right words are not coming from your brain or having people talking to you and not understanding what they are saying while wondering whats going on.

For me this decease is  like seeing someone slowly dissapearing in front of you.  I dont wish it on anyone and I truly miss having a long chat with my Dad....

If you could donate anything towards this organisation it would be fantastic!! They may not be finding the cure tomorrow but hopefully one day they will!! and others can benefit.  Without the support they can't carry on...
