Last Thursday 11th March I managed to scramble up to the top of Kilimanjaro (5895m) with a small group from Action Challenge. It was a tough climb and not everyone made it. Many of the group were raising funds for charity and I committed to do the same when I came back to the UK. So, I realise this is retrospective, but I would be absolutely delighted if you could make a small contribution to the excellent charity Marie Curie Cancer Care through this web site. Any contribution however small would be very gratefully received. For those of you at BP in Aberdeen you can consider this as a leaving present because I will be packing my bags and setting off down South very soon. For those of you who are my close friends, this site is dedicated to my Mum who died of cancer some years ago and to two of my friends who are currently suffering.
