I am running for a very small charity - one that really needs your help to continue working in the community where it is based.

On the surface you might think that Shy Lowen only rescues horses and ponies, but it doesn't end there.  They provide a safe home, training and lots of love for these sometimes mistreated animals.  BUT they also work with humans who also find themselves vulnerable or suffering in some way, and the horses and ponies help with that. 

They are in a deprived area of the city, meaning that local kids can come along and volunteer and learn to look after animals that they probably wouldn't have the opportunity to otherwise.  They provide riding lessons (when the pesky weather allows!) for a very reasonable price meaning again that it is available to kids who just would not normally get those opportunities.

In a mad world, Shy Lowen is a peaceful haven for horses, ponies and humans.  Go on, donate.  You know you want to!
