Access to safe and clean water is a critical problem in Africa, particularly Malawi. Figures show that one in three people do not have access to clean water in Malawi, which equates to over 11.5 million people. 80% of school children in Malawi lack clean and safe drinking water, which causes the children to be infected or die from waterborne diseases.
At the end of November we will be travelling to a rural region in Malawi, the Chikwawa district. During our time we will be installing water pumps in order for villages to have access to clean, reliable and safe water. We will also be visiting orphanages and schools, where we will deliver gifts and necessities for the children. We would greatly appreciate any donations made towards this cause. Thank you.
