Story

I'm proud and delighted to report that team Transatlantic completed the Belfast City Marathon 2014 relay race... woo hoo!!  Despite the rain our spirits were not dampened, and we had loads of fun.

A big thank you to our team members from USA, Liz and Krystal, for taking time out in their holiday to run for Positive Futures; thanks to Maggie for the idea to run in the first place, and to my husband Christopher for running the longest leg!

Finally a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported us through generous donations and sponsorship!! Thank you!

___

My friends and I have entered a relay team in the Belfast City Marathon 2014, and we would like your support to raise money for the miles that we run.  Our team has some seasoned runners who enjoy running and have a lot of experiences (including medals), then there's me who doesn't usually run unless there's a very good reason... like fundraising for Positive Futures!

So who's running?  We're an international team of feisty runners from both sides of the Atlantic.  They are....Maggie Burnside, Liz Andrews, Krystal Kempf, Chris Allen and me Gillian Allen.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page, for making a donation and for your support!
