Well, I can't believe it is 10 years since my first Great North Run which I ran in memory of Simon and to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research.

It was such an emotional 13.1 miles but as I crossed the finish line I set myself the goal of running 9 more!

Over the years I have had huge support from my wonderful friends in particular Marie and Helen, we have had great fun especially in the beer tent at the end! We have run as Fairies, Bumble Bees and Wonder Women and this year the theme is 101 Dalmations so please look out for Cruella and her puppies on the telly!!

A huge thank you to all who have donated so generously over the years but could  I please ask you to dig deep again for this most import cause, we need to find a cure.
