London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

We're a charity that improves the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy through specialist therapy, support and information.

Story

Cerebral Palsy Scotland walks hand in hand with families with CP. Cerebral Palsy Scotland wants every person with cerebral palsy to achieve and take part.We use our knowledge and expertise to provide opportunities that enable people with cerebral palsy to build skills, knowledge, confidence and relationships. Providing intensive therapy using the Bobath concept is at the heart of what we do. We also run therapist-led groups for all ages and stages, the Cerebral Palsy Scotland online knowledge bank, and an annual conference.

Ciaran was diagnosed with cerebral Palsy shortly after birth.  He attends the centre for much needed therapy but this comes at a massive cost to the family.  Every therapy blocks brings him on so much, so any break in this send him back in his progress so I want to make sure the full year of therapy is paid for him.  That way he can continue to progress into the amazing boy he is, and my cousin does not need to worry about how this will be funded

Over the last 11 years I have raised over £182.000 for charity, mainly for children with cancer.  I then decided to split my fundraising as I wanted to know that ciaran would get his therapy.

I am due to run my 18th great north run in September snd my 18th full marathon on October.  My 8th annual charity ball will take place in November snd there may be other events in between

Every penny will make a difference to Ciaran and to the charity, so I Really appreciate each and every single donation.
