My personal strory is that initially - my Grand-mother died from bowel cancer when only in her forties. Then, we lost my Mother to Myloma (Cancer of the blood). And much more recently, I have a wonderful Friend that is presently undergoing treatment for Brain And Lung Cancer and she is proving to be so very strong! I also have a Niece, who is still only in her early thirties & has a young child & she's been fighting Thyroid Cancer. Then my Sister, who is only 62yrs has recently undergone her 3rd very serious operation due to Cancer of the mouth, throat and voice-box and where she actually finds her will to conquer and live is totally beyond me!?! And sadly, I've also lost my dear Uncle Ray, who was diagnosed with lung cancer fairly recently and it really was a short space of time before we lost him! I'm so very aware that there are so many people that are being affected by this terrible desease - whether personally or via their nearest and dearest! So please dig deep and donate now.
