Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for Ruby Lambert, a very brave little girl who used to attend my daughter's school in London. Ruby was just 5 years old when she sufferd a massive cardiac arrest at school, due to a rare undiagnosed heart disorder. Ruby suffered a severe brain injury due to the time it took to restart her heart, and spent 2 weeks in a coma in Great Ormond Street Hospital. Since she fell ill we have been raising money to help pay for the specialist treatment and therapy she needs. She was able to spend a year in the US where the standard of treatment for brain injury is miles ahead of what is available in the UK.
I am excited to be running this marathon for Ruby and look forward to seeing how your support will help Ruby on her next steps to recovery. Tree of Hope Children's Charity ensure that every penny donated to Ruby's cause goes directly to her, so you can be sure that Ruby will benefit from every donation. You can read more about Ruby on her website www.one4ruby.com and support her on Facebook
