Story

On 9 May 2010 I will be cycling the 40 miles to London to Rochester along (that leg of) national cycle route 1. It will be horrible.

Why am I doing this crazy thing?

On 24 July 2010 Scouts from 130 countires will be coming together in Kenya for the 13th World Scout Moot, the first world event for young people in Scouting ever to be held in Africa.

I will be joining them as part of the International Service Team, the team that build and deliver the event. We will be working in teams of 10 with Scouts from 9 different countries, including Kenya, represented in these teams.

This is a really important opportunity for me and a historic moment for scouting - but I need your help!

Please sponsor me and together we can make something amazing happen!

Thanks heaps,

Gilly

(I'm also happy to visit groups to talk about the Moot, if you would like me too.)
