As some of you are aware I am a volunteer Dementia Champion which involves delivering information sessions in my local community.  It is part of a national Government initiative to obtain one million Dementia Friends by 2015.

I am passionate in raising awareness enabling a more inclusive society based on the future impact dementia will have on us all to some extent. 

I am self funding a trek on the Great Wall of China and collecting donations which will go directly to research for dementia, a valuable resource that seriously needs more support.
