To celebrate my half century this summer I wanted to challenge myself to walk 50km.  

Training is well underway with walks getting longer and more frequent each week. Its a huge personal journey for me to cope with the physicality of the task I have signed up for.  I anticipate the walk itself taking between 10 and 12 hours...it takes a long time to walk 31 miles! Lots of tea and cake have been consumed, more about that later.

Whilst out walking I am regularly seeing fantastic wildlife, deers, rabbits, herons ..the list goes on.  Tiggywinkles is an amazing charity, supporting those animals that need our help
