In May 2019, after an 8 month battle, we lost Ginny to Stomach Cancer. During the final 8 weeks of her life she was taken into the care of St Richards Hospice (Worcester). We cannot express the amazing care, love and compassion that they showed not only Ginny but also to her immediate family members, even to this day. They were just incredible and made our traumatic time as special as it could have been. We promised Ginny that we would give them the recognition that they truly deserve and continue to raise as much money as we possibly could in her honour!

Being the outgoing lady that Ginny was we have chosen to honour her by doing something that not only raises money for this incredible charity that is so close to all of our hearts, but also by doing a life changing experience. When we told Ginny what we were planning to do she was so immensely proud of us (and also couldn’t help but giggle at the thought of Amber conquering her fear of heights-meany!). 

Myself (Amber) and Nat will be Skydiving to raise money for St Richards! The original jump date was 12th October 2019, however due to poor weather conditions this was rearranged until 15th May 2020. Furthermore, this was postponed due to COVID restrictions. Now that these have been lifted, the new jump date will be 28th August 2021. We raised over £1000 which was needed in order to do the dive back in Oct 2019, however as there is more time and St Richards are such a fantastic corporation, we thought why not try and raise some more! Whether it be big or little, please donate what you can for this amazing cause and help us both honour Ginnys beautiful wishes.
