Hello there and thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

The JCP Swansea Half Marathon on 24th June '18 will mark 18 months since some lifestyle changes - becoming vegan and teetotal - as well as marking the longest distance I will have covered in my (relatively short) running career so far. 

I am choosing to recognise and fund-raise for The Vegan Society in appreciation of the guidance and promotion of the cruelty-free lifestyle it has not only provided me, but also millions of people over the last 74 years. 

The Vegan Society is the oldest vegan society in the world and is a registered educational charity, educating and informing people globally on why and how veganism can end human and animal suffering. As we know, education is the first step towards real and good change, so please do take a moment to visit their website, www.vegansociety.com to see the fantastic work they do, specifically their campaigns. 

The Vegan Society continues to inspire huge change which is so fantastic given the lean team it operates from. Veganism has truly changed my life and so far in only 18 months reduced demand for nearly 300 animals entering into our food chain.
