This is the JustGiving page set up in memory of Glen Fawcett.

Sadly on the 7th May 2019, we lost my Dad Glen to a form of Brain Cancer, Glioblastoma (GBM 4), having only been diagnosed in early January 2019.

He showed strength, courage, determination and love. These qualities do not need to end with him. In his honour, I hope that we can all show these same qualities to remember Glen (Dad) and make a difference to the lives of thousands of people in the future. We hope that one day the money raised will bring a cure to this devastating illness. And that others diagnosed with GBM 4 have a future.

My Dad doted on his grandchildren and they brought him such joy and happiness. Especially when he was diagnosed. They will always be reminded of him and his legacy will continue in them. From the words of a 4 year old "I think you are great Grandad".

Dad was weeks away from celebrating 40 years of marriage to Mum. She describes him as the greatest raconteur, most stubborn, determined, inquisitive and learned person she ever knew. As a family we are immensely proud of his achievements, which gained respect and admiration across the world.

We are very grateful for any donations you are able to make and we kindly ask that instead of buying flowers for Glen’s funeral, donations are made to this worthy cause.
