Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Well the tea party was a fantastic success!! The delicious cakes, scones and cookies (and chocolate spiders!) went down a storm and left everyone well and truly sugared-up, all before 10am!

Thanks to everyone who contribute time, baking talents and of course money to this fantastic cause. We smashed our target thanks to you!

Hard Fact: 1 in 3 of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. If it's not you, the chances are you will be touched by it, be it a family member or friend.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a leading provider of end of life care in Scotland.

They have hospices in Glasgow and Edinburgh and more than 250 Marie Curie Nurses working in communities across the country.

This year Marie Curie Nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals will care for more than 5,000 people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in Scotland as well as provide support for their families.

The care they provide is free of charge and available to anyone with a terminal illness, not just cancer.

As a world leader in researching better ways to care for patients at the end of life, they also campaign for better end of life care in Scotland.

They need to raise more than £6.5 million per year to fund their hospice and nursing care in Scotland, which is also supported by local health boards.

The good news is YOU can help! In return for a few quid, you can join us for a cuppa and cake. Donations can be made via this page or on the day....or even better, both!  We have a target of £250 so we can double this by applying for a Community Cashback award.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks very much for your support
