Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Goals Soccer Centres JustGiving page.

We are delighted to be supporting BBC Children in Need though the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run business challenge. We have entered a team of 10 staff from our Support Centre in East Kilbride and our Glasgow South and Glasgow West branches and we can't wait to test our fitness out on the open roads instead of in our 5-a-side arenas.

The team challenge aspect is a great incentive to get the miles in the legs. We are a competitive bunch at Goals and nobody wants to let the team down by being unprepared. Everyone has been training hard - or so they say! But whether we finish first or last, it is ultimately about the charities, and we hope that lots of money is raised by the teams taking part in the business challenge and those running as individuals.

We have decided to support BBC Children in Need. The charity provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. We were lucky enough to have Pudsey visit our Glasgow South branch a few weeks back, and he is delighted that we are supporting such a great cause.

Please dig deep and help Goals reach our fundraising target of £1,000!
