The Big Banana Relay Goes out of this world- Literally · 1 August 2014

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

This year at go ape, our house charity is the Teenage cancer trust.

Our main fundraising activity is the big banana relay, which involves transporting a giant inflatable banana to all of the goape sites in the most inventive and whacky ways possible!
The banana has already been in a hot air baloon, on Segways, tandem bikes but there is one place it hasnt been, TO SPACE!!

Go Ape! sherwood, have decided to try and fly the banana into the outer reaches of the earths atmosphere, connected to an enormous weather balloon!

We are building the space craft from scratch using materiels we can find around the cabin (and in the managers shed!). We have suport from a local expert.
All of the staff here have poured all of their spare time and effort into making this happen!

lots of people think it cant be done! LETS PROVE THEM WRONG!

even the smallest donation will add to the total, and will be very, very greatfully recived!

please help us reach our total by donating online.
Or text SHGA99, and your amount, to 70070

Together we can raise money to help this amazing charity!

Thank you,

-Mission control.
