We fund research to improve the lives of autistic people

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We (Ted, Cain and Brady) will be attempting the ultimate family challenge - running the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2020 to raise money for and to support the amazing work Autistica do to improve the lives of everyone affected by autism, including our Jake, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, meaning this is a cause that is very close to our hearts.

The work of Autistica includes better treatment and diagnosis for adults with autism, helping those with autism manage and understand their anxiety and massively supporting families with younger children with autism. They are currently involved with lots of projects at the forefront of mental and physical health.

Those with autism and their families need a huge amount of support, from the range of high-profile scientific research set up by Autistica into the causes of autism to providing toolkits to help families cope with newly-diagnosed children. This support is what we hope to improve by taking on the huge challenge of running the London Marathon in 2020. Please help us realise this goal by donating what you can!
