Gordon died aged 93 years old, peacefully and with great dignity at home on Friday 24th February 2012. He was married to Joan his childhood sweetheart for 66 years until her death in 2008. He had a series of strokes and became blind in 2005. He endured his disabilities with great strength and fortitude and was fiercly independant to the end. He loved his family and friends and never complained about his situation. He had a fulfilling life enjoying many happy times. He was a Hairdresser with his own business and served during the war with courage. He leaves us with a great gap in our lives, but with memories of a life full of love and devotion. We will all miss you.
