Story

Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and read my story.

On the 20th of January 2015, I will be cutting off seven inches of my hair and donating it to 'The Little Princess Trust' and donating my sponsorship money to the Macmillan charity.

Recently, my beautiful auntie Julia was given the all clear from breast cancer. But, just several weeks ago she received the awful news that she had secondary cancer in her lungs, kidneys and liver. For those of you who don't know, secondary cancer is not curable. But with the right support and care, it can be treated and controlled.
I have chosen to donate seven inches of my hair every year, when it is at a long enough length to be cut, to The Little Princess Trust. This organisation takes hair donations and turns them into wigs for those who have lost their hair from the chemotherapy they have received so they can still maintain positive self image while fighting from cancer. I believe this is very important as cancer doesn't only affect you physically, but also mentally.
I have also set up this page to collect sponsors. This money, along with my photography business's profits, will be going towards Macmillan Cancer Support. This is a charity which does amazing work to provide support for the sufferers and family members during and after their battle with cancer.
