Every half an hour in the UK, a child or young person will acquire a brain injury. The Child Brain Injury Trust provides information, support and training to anyone affected by this devastating and life changing condition. Visit our website www.childbraininjurytrust.org.uk to find out more...

Story

On Saturday night in the closing few minutes of the beautifully crafted Casualty 30, one little girl - Connie's daughter, Grace - was revealed to have suffered from a subdural hematoma.  The response from Twitter has been quite rightly, phenomenal but lest we forget, Grace and Connie's story is fictional.  For other families, this is a reality.

In the 90 minutes that Casualty fans were glued to that epic episode 3 children in the UK sustained brain injuries.  3 children's lives were changed for ever.

Please consider donating to our fundraising efforts for the Children's Brain Injury Trust - if every Casualty fan on Twitter donated just a £1 we could make a real difference.

*please note - we are in no way affiliated to the BBC or the Children's Brain Injury Trust - we are just a group of fans who want to use our obsessive natures for good*
