Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. We believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving our vision

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 23rd May we have been persuaded to take part in Mencap's annual Y Factor event at the Crystal Bar in Sheffield City Centre.

Jeremy Thompson from Nabarro LLP, Graeme Davies from Barber Harrison and Platt, Robert Travis from Investec, and Chris Monroe from HLW Keeble Hawson have joined together to form a new boy band "Wrong Direction"

"We will be performing live on stage for one night only. We are doing this in aid of Mencap which is a truly fantastic cause so it would great if you could sponsor us a few quid for making idiots out of ourselves."

Every penny counts and all donations go to support families affected by learning disability.

So please dig deep and donate now.

If you want to come along and watch this happening tickets are available for £15 at http://www.mencap.org.uk/get-involved/events/sheffield-y-factor or by calling 07852 189185.

Thanks
