As someone who loves going to the movies, I regularly see the advert for MediCinema, and I think bringing movies to people who are ill is a fantastic idea. I know it's something I would hugely appreciate if I were ill. 

For anyone who doesn't know about MediCinema, they're a charity which builds and runs actual, permanent cinemas inside hospitals throughout the UK for patients to go to with their families. There’s something about going to the cinema that gives me a sense of wellbeing – I’m not sure why, but I always feel better when I’ve visited the cinema, so I can see how MediCinema must really help people in hospital - especially if they've been in for a long time. And the MediCinemas are built so patients can come in their bed if they need to. Other than that and the nurses on hand to make sure everyone's safe,
they're the same as any other cinema. They even show the latest films.

MediCinema enriches the quality of life for patients young and old, including those in beds and wheelchairs, by installing state-of-the-art cinemas in hospitals to bring the magic of the movies to them, their families and carers.

I completed the Leeds Half Marathon recently and would like to attempt the full marathon this time. It will take a lot of training but it will definitely all be worth it once I cross the finish line (provided they haven't packed up and gone home by the time I get there). 

I wanted to run for a charity/good cause again, and, for me, MediCinema is the obvious choice.
