I have decided to complete my first sprint triathlon at the age of 38. At first I was swimming to lose a bit of weight but soon decided that I wanted to do some other excercise as well. I decided to do the triathlon then started thinking whether i would try and raise funds for a charity or just do it to prove to myself that i still can. Unfortunately last year a work colleague and friend passed away at a young age. Anthony had spent some time at the Accord Hospice and on reading further about the hospice found that they require a lot of fund raising every year to keep going. The countdown is now on, the event is on Sunday 9th May, the training is going well and i am starting to feel a lot more positive about being able to complete the event in a respectable time
