Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having staggered round the Sutton Fun Run the last 2 years - a mere 8.5 miles - I have decided to really push myself and try one last 1/2 marathon. Unlike my super fit younger brother, this will be a real challenge - 13 miles is nothing to him but is a long way for me. I will make it though. More importantly I am now part of a very big team of over 70 runners supporting Edward's Trust. As most of you know, (and if you don't tell your friends and get them to donate too!!) without the wonderful people at the Trust I would not be where I am now. After my incredible little boy Jamie was killed at just 5 years old I was a mess. Edward's Trust pulled me from the wreckage of my life at the time and they continue to guide, encourage and support bereaved parents and siblings across the Midlands. Sadly, they are always busy. Every day, somebody is affected by the death of a loved one and nobody knows what to do next. The amazing people at Edward's Trust can help though. But they need money. They have just celebrated 25 years of supporting those in the greatest need at the time they are the lowest. Please help me to help them by giving what you can.

Thank you
