We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

I was at Glasgow Children’s Hospital for my Charity cheque presentation, following my 24 hours of miles challenge in August.

Thanks again to all family, friends and coaches who joined me running during the day and night, and to everyone that donated to such a deserving charity.

********

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’ve set myself a wee running challenge this Saturday, 1st August...to run a mile, on the hour, every hour, for 24 hours.

I’ll also be adding in an extra 2.2 miles at some point during the day to reach a marathon distance.

As I run, I’ll be reflecting on the highs and lows of lockdown and the past 5 months, and how grateful we are to be getting back to footbal training, the kids back to school and returning to the routines of normal life.

I’ll also be thinking about Jamie Murray, fellow St Cadocs coach and good guy, who passed away recently, and his family. His funeral is on Friday.

I thought it would be appropriate to make a donation to his family’s chosen charity, Yorkhill Sick Kids, and keep me motivated on completing my 24 hour running challenge.

I’m very grateful if you can spare a few quid.

Thanks 🙏
