As most know, I'm a GP and have seen the Macmillan trust 'in action'. I'm very aware of the invaluable work that they are undertaking, right now, for thousands of people who are suffering from cancer. There are a lot of people whose lives have been helped, including my cousin, Linda Stevens and my mother-in-law, Maureen Gowland who passed away in February and April respectively.

I have now completed both the London Marathon in 3hrs 10min, and successfully cycled from JOG->LE. Many thanks to all who have contributed to such a good cause. I'm yet to calculate and add most of the many cash donations so the total is set to rise further
