Scotland Coast to Coast 2011 · 17 September 2011 ·

North London Hospice supports more than 3,500 people with a life-limiting illness each year in the communities of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Established in 1984, we are committed to empowering our patients through our vision which is to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.

Story

I've signed up with my brother Mike to cross Scotland by foot-bike-kayak next weekend and thought it a good opportunity to raise some money for a good cause.

Sadly our mother passed away two years ago from cancer and the North London Hospice (NLH) helped us through the final few weeks.  Cancer effects so many people these days and the people working at NLH are one of the many organisations that provide help, support and guidance.

Please donate some money if you can but don't worry if not, just wish us luck!

Scotland Coast2Coast details - 105miles in two days starting in Nairn on the east coast and finishing in Fort William on the west.  78miles cycling, 20miles running and 2 miles in a kayak along Loch Ness.  Yikes!!!
