Story
I am running the London Parks Half to raise vital funds to help those facing terminal illness.
Marie Curie is a charity that no-one expects or wants to have to lean on but I have seen first hand just how invaluable their support can be during extremely difficult times. From practical to medical, financial to emotional the advice they provide ensures people can make the most of the time they have left with dignity and control — and that those around them can focus on the things that really matter.
This is the background to my (admittedly very hungover) sign up to the event and it goes without saying that the last few months of training have been a bit of a shock. On the 8th October I will be huffing and puffing my way round the course and hope everyone who sees this page will give generously to make it all the more worthwhile.
