Schnauzerfest is a registered charity, bringing together schnauzers, their humans and other canine friends As well as paying veterinary bills for dogs at the heart of Schnauzerfest is a commitment to raising awareness of puppy farming which harms all sizes, types and breeds of dog.

Story

Grandpa Jake is almost deaf, almost blind and very arthritic and was handed in for adoption at the age of 12 or 13. He now has a lovely furever home with four other rescue puppy-farm girl schnauzers.

He was inspired by Captain Tom Moore and decided to try and do 100 laps of his house and garden. He is not sure how far he has got because there are several detours en route,  and moments to   contemplate on the meaning of life but he is resolute on achieving his goal some day. After his first lap he went to sleep for 7 hours, oblivious to the fact that he was raising money for Schnauzerfest while he slept. He has raised over £1,000 so far.

Schnauzerfest raises money to pay for the veterinary care needed by dogs saved from puppy farms & other bad backgrounds. Schnauzerfest funds restore the eyesight of dogs blinded by cataracts, as well as paying for other specialist treatment. Supporting Schnauzerfest means vital rescue work is made possible and dogs lives are transformed.
