In all honesty, i dont know whether I will get through this, but I'm training hard and if i show an ounce of the determination my Grandad did, i will get through it.

As some of you may know, I lost my Grandad last year after he battled cancer for 2 years and 6 months. He defied odds, kept his head up and always had a smile on his face, despite being very ill. My Grandad is an inspiration to all that knew him and made us all laugh no matter what.

Be generous people. The Ellanor hospice in Gravesend, were professional, caring and so compassionate through out. They made my Grandad comfortable and made him happy through out his treatment.
