Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one woman in a million. We are a self-help group providing support for patients with LAM and raise money for vital research - it is often difficult to obtain money for research into a rare disease.

On 2nd April Grazyna sadly passed away. Following her long battle we have comfort in knowing that she is finally at rest. Over 25 years ago Grazyna was diagnosed with the rare condition lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). Defying all odds, over the subsequent years, she overcame tremendous hurdles in respect of her health.

Grazyna received immense support from the charity LAM Action, a charity set up for women affected by LAM. Not only was she able to benefit from a significant amount of support provided by the charity, but she also formed some valuable friendships within the group.
