On the 27th June 2015, a group of supporters of the Great Fen are walking the 39-miles from Wicken Fen to Woodwalton Fen along the Rothschild Way. This footpath is named in honour of Charles Rothschild, a banker and naturalist with connections to both sites who went on to become an important figure in wildlife conservation.

All monies raised will go to the Great Fen, a major habitat restoration project run by the Wildlife Trust BCN. 99% of the fens have been lost and this scheme aims to restore a small piece of this unique and varied landscape. Please check out the website at www.greatfen.org.uk.
