My challenge is to cycle 150 miles over 3 days from Workington (generic northern coastal town) on the West coast of Britain to Tynemouth (another generic northern coastal town) on the East coast, loosely following Hadrian's wall!
All the money that is raised will go to Leonard Cheshire Disability Community which works with thousands of peoples with disabilities in the UK and is a truly worthwhile cause!
It's probably going to be difficult because I've never cycled that far and I'm using a bike that my dad and I constructed last summer out of the wreckages of two bikes that my brother wrote-off. It's also going to be really shitey weather next week!
Please donate anything you can! A few ideas for personal sacrifices are - donate £1 and spend £1 less in spoons next time you're out or donate £2 and forget about the ice cream you were going to buy this coming week (weathers going to be rubbish anyway so you won't miss it). That money is going directly to helping people who weren't born with the opportunities that you take for granted.
