Story
Glen and Greg wanted to support a small charity that will benefit from our fund raising directly. We have met Freddie many times at our local rugby club and want to offer him and his charity our support.
Freddie is an inspirational ten year old who was born at 28 weeks with cerebral palsy, weighing just 2lbs 12 oz. Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects movement, posture and co-ordination and is caused by an injury to the brain usually before or very soon after birth. Roughly 1 in 4 babies in the UK are affected each year. Freddie's family have been taking him to a centre near Oxford three times a year for intensive physiotherapy involving a unique piece of equipment called a "Spider" which has benefitted Freddie enormously. Freddie's family have launched a campaign to set up a physiotherapy centre nearer home for Freddie and children like him. Hopefully the centre will be active and ready to welcome children by January 2015. With our help this will happen. Having seen first hand the energy, effort, hard work and shed loads of love Freddie's family and friends have poured into this campaign it's a pleasure to help so THANK YOU wholeheartedly for your contributions be they large or small.
thankyou
