Story
I have never run a marathon. Some might reasonably suggest I never will. Yet with barely 10 weeks to go until the London Marathon, I have bravely/recklessly [you choose] agreed to give it a shot. So I'm asking for your moral, financial and quite possibly physical support! Though if you can only offer one, Global Action Nepal - the charity I'm running for - would really appreciate it being financial.
Why I am doing this? Because Global Action Nepal do fantastic work improving the quality of education and providing basic healthcare to children across Nepal. The Covid pandemic and cost of living crisis brought my focus closer to home. But learning about Global Action Nepal's work in such a difficult context has helped broaden my horizons again and reminded me of the poverty and struggles I've seen when travelling in Nepal and the region. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, with 80% of people living on less than £5/day, and access to quality education for all is crucial to improve its long-term development. So even a small donation can make a big difference. This all made me want to support them and I hope you will too!
