Once again, I have decided to take on the challenge of swimming from Cumbrae to Largs in aid of Gillans Saltire Appeal which is a hugely successful local charity helping sufferers, families & carers of cancer get some respite from their day to day challenges - the charity needs the funds to keep a local property operational on a day to day basis and really does make a huge difference to people's lives.....see link below.

This is the second time I will have attempted the swim and I managed to complete it in 1hr 3mins on the first attempt so the challenge is to try and break the hour mark this time - although I'll be more than happy just to complete it if I'm honest!
