Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Starting on 1st August, I will be part of a team of 10 (Fiona Bayfield, Andy Butler, Stuart Ramsey, Vince Holmes, Richard Ellis, Hamish Renwick, Chris Watts, Andy Shawyer, Dan Scognalmilio, Phil Boardman, Stephen Pettyfer) riding our bikes from Grenoble to Nice over the Alps.  We are doing some of the iconic climbs from the Tour de France including, Alpe D'Heuz, The Izoard, Col du Var and Cime de la Bonette (2800m altitude).  This is not easy, but it's not supposed to be.  We have some incredible support from family and friends.  This is not an organised "Tour", we are doing it all ourselves.  

Why? Because we can, and because many people that I look after with oesophageal cancer might not get the chance.  The money we raise will help improve awareness of this disease and much needed funding to support patients going through treatment right now.  What they are facing makes our alpine adventure insignificant.  Please help if you can.
