Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 10 June 2017

Established 1995 our goal is to provide the help and along term care for sufferers and their carers with brain injuries.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Group Rhodes (comprising Rhodes Interform, Craven Fawcett and Hallamshire Engineering Services) is raising funds for a local charity, Move Ahead, for which our CEO, Mark Ridgway OBE DL, is a Patron.

We have assembled a team to take on the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 10 June.  The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles long, including 5,200 feet of ascent, taking in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

The mission of Move Ahead is to provide support to the brain injured and their carers.  The charity’s aim is to provide some of the life skills and social interaction that is vital for the long term recovery of people who have suffered a life changing event, and helping to create a better future for its members and their families.  Many of us know someone who is affected by cerebral disorders, and we all see how mental health issues generally are deservedly receiving a higher profile today.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We thank you for your consideration in supporting this charity and any contribution you are able to make is much appreciated.
