Parkinson's UK Spooky Sprint · 29 October 2011 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The GroveGhouls met at a running group that operates out of the Grove Leisure Centre in Balderton, Newark. Most of us haven't run a 10k before so decided to challenge ourselves by running the Parkinson's Spooky Sprint at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham. This isn't just any old 10k though, we'll be running it in the dark (6pm on October 29th) aided by headlamps and glow in the dark T-Shirts (modelled by Lisa, Kirsty & Rea in the photo!).
