Daniel's Grow,Mo,Go?

Grow,Mo,Go? · 28 November 2014
Let's face it, cancer is a dick. You know it, I know it, Cancer probably knows it.
But cancer doesn't care. Doesn't care who it effects, who it makes suffer, and ultimately, who it kills.
The sad fact is, we have probably all lost a loved one to cancer, or at least have had someone close to us go through the agony and worry of treatment.
But that's not to say there's no hope. Charities like ClicSargent offer an unbelievable source of hope for young people affected by cancer - None more so than my friend Andy.
Andy (or OurGary, to those in know), was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma shortly after we finished university. 5 years, several relapses, bone marrow transplants and various complications later...and Andy's just finished his first term as a qualified teacher. Suck it, Cancer.
Our Gary's my hero. A top guy. If you know him, chances are you like him. I've never heard him whinge for even a second about his illness, and he's the first to crack a joke about it. Not satisfied with just surviving the ordeal and starting a career, Andy's now heavily involved with fundraising for the charities which helped him through.
So here we are, and it's time to help out.
Lacking the necessary lung capacity to run a marathon, the only real thing I have to offer is my most treasured possession. That's right folks, it's the BEARD.
Leave a donation, big or small, and pop a comment as to whether I should:
- Grow - let the beard run wild and free!
- Mo - Ditch the beard, rock the Moustache (MoBro for life)
- Go - The real deal, my chin sees daylight for the first time in 18 months.
At the end of November, the votes will be tallied, and the judges decision will be final!
