Freefall abseil from Brighton iDrop · 19 October 2019

Since 1956, experienced HCPT volunteers have taken 1,000s of disabled and disadvantaged children and adults on life changing pilgrimage holidays to the shrine of Lourdes in France. We are of all faiths and none. Thank you for your support.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

In October, our group helpers have madly agreed to freefall abseil off the Brighton BA  iPod (450ft) and we would really appreciate your sponsorship to make it all worthwhile!

Group 181 HCPT  are travelling  to Lourdes again this  Easter 2020 - our 23rd  year  - having taken over 120 children with a range of differing needs on a wonderful  holiday pilgrimage for a week over Easter. The children or assisted adults  need one to one care which we, as volunteers,  provide and always  feel privileged to do so.

The week gives these children  and guests a safe, fun holiday, of which some have never had -together with some well needed respite for their parents. It’s a magical week  and we helpers and friends fundraise to bring each child and to support helpers fares if required.  Many of you give each year for which we are very grateful  - you really are supporting something which gives instant benefit to these special children and their incredible families!

Thank you for helping us raise over £150,000 over the last twenty years - you have made a difference!
