My name is Gus and I am 5 years old and I go to Blue Coat School in Wotton-Under-Edge.  At School I have a friend called Adam and unfortunately Adam has had problems with his kidneys since he was born.  He has had some great support from the charity, Kids Kidney Research and their amazing work has helped to improve his kidney treatment and will hopefully continue to do so.

I had seen that people had been doing some fundraising and I asked my Mummy and Daddy if I too could do something.  After a lot of thought, I decided that I wanted to paddle our Canadian canoe with my Daddy for as long as I thought I could manage.  As I'm 5 and a half I thought 5 and a half miles would be a good idea.

I am doing my paddle on Sunday 12th July come rain or shine and I'll be paddling from Frampton-on-Severn to Purton on the canal. We'll be leaving Frampton at 12 noon. It will probably take us 2 hours. 

I am really excited to be helping such an important charity and also to be supporting my friend Adam and we would really appreciate any amount you wish to donate.
